I bought this scarf a couple of years ago at the Kenzo boutique when I was in Paris for the Maison & Objet show. Their name for it is “Eyes Allover” and it is one of my absolute favorite scarves. The eye as design motif seems to be having a resurgence lately in fashion and interior design. Obviously I love it (see my logo, etc.)!
The pattern’s layout is quite fascinating in the way the eyes rotate and grow smaller towards the center of the scarf.
The symbol of the eye evokes a mysterious and provocative feeling. To me it represents so much but especially humanity, eternity and a sense of endless possibility.
